Enhancing fisheries management and biodiversity conservation with genetic insights.

The Mamoozadeh Molecular Ecology Lab applies genetic and genomic tools to resolve critical information needs in fisheries management. Our work lies at the intersection of fish and landscape ecology, evolutionary biology, biodiversity conservation, and fisheries management. We work hand-in-hand with fisheries management agencies and other stakeholders to meet applied information needs while also exploring broader questions about biodiversity conservation.
